There are three resources that will dictate progression in Glizzy Royale:
$GLIZZY
$GLIZZY is the in-game utility token of Glizzy Royale that will drive the player economy.
2. Weapon XP
Weapon XP is needed to level up your weapons and get access to important gun attachments.
3. Medals
Medals are earned through completing achievements and give players access to powerful weapons and rare skins.
$GLIZZY is our in-game utility token that serves as your entry fee into each battle royale match. Players will pay a small amount of $GLIZZY as a buy-in into each match. These buy-ins are then distributed to the top placing players in each match. Eliminating players also provide a small amount of $GLIZZY per kill.
The buy-in system reduces the inflationary pressure on the token as a smaller number of new tokens enter circulation after each match.
We are conscious of the importance of well thought out tokenomics. We will not get into specific numbers yet as our team continues to develop a smart plan for $GLIZZY emissions.
Players will pay a flat fee in $GLIZZY to make upgrades to their NFT weapons. $GLIZZY spent on weapon upgrades is taken out of circulation.
Medals are earned through completing achievements and give players access to powerful weapons and rare skins.
Glizzy Royale will feature a robust achievement system with close to 1,000 unique achievements at launch. Players will earn medals in exchange for completing a variety of both skill-based, time-based, and luck-based accomplishments. There are five difficulty tiers that will determine how many medals each achievement will provide:
Easy -> 1 Medal
Medium -> 5 Medals
Hard -> 10 Medals
Master -> 25 Medals
"Yea Right" -> 100 Medals
Medals can be exchanged in the in-game store for powerful weapons and rare skins that will only be available through the medal achievement system. Since the number of achievements is finite, players will need to carefully weigh how they spend their medals.
The number of medals a player has earned will be publicly displayed next to the player’s screen name.
The medal system offers players another avenue for progression and could serve as an approximation of a player’s skill level.
Every weapon starts at zero experience points and can be leveled up to unlock valuable attachments. Weapon XP is based on two factors:
Time survived in-game
Killing other players
To access various weapon upgrades such as red-dot sights, thermal scopes and handgrips, players will need to increase the weapon XP for each of their weapons (more on this in the next section).
Weapons sold on the secondary market will have their level clearly displayed, providing more value to players that sell a weapon they took the time to level up.
