Glizzy Royale will be a first-person shooter with last-man-standing battle royale gameplay.
At the start of every game, players will begin up in the sky in our hot-dog (glizzy) plane and will strategically choose when to parachute out. Each lobby will feature a maximum of 20 players across a small but densly packed map (see "The Game Map" section for more detail on the map).
The map will feature several key points of interest with valuable non-weapon loot including armor kits, first-aid kits, ammo and more.
Players begin each round with 1000 health and zero armor. Armor kits can boost a player’s total hit points to 1500 while first-aid kits can be used to bring a player’s health back up to 1000.
Ammo will be another resource players will need to manage. Different guns will require different types of ammo.
Every major point of interest will feature the above resources in abundance, creating strong incentives for players to land in these locations. Resources will also be available at the outskirts of the map, but at much lower rates.
Glizzy Royale is a pay-and-earn battle royale game coming to the Solana blockchain.
Our goal with Glizzy Royale is simple – create a dynamic fast-paced battle royale experience that brings the community together through a completely Solana NFT-themed map. Our game will revolve around simple yet polished player-versus-player gameplay. We want to do one thing and be the best at it.
There are four key pillars that will define our development process from start to finish:
Simplicity
Reward Skill
Fun > Profit
High Accessibility
As hinted in our introduction, our team strongly values simplicity. We want to master the fundamentals of strong shooter mechanics rather than distract the player with hundreds of complicated features and systems. Players want to get into a lobby, queue up quickly and understand what’s going on immediately. Our game will provide a fast-learning curve that will allow anyone with even basic shooter experience to jump in and feel like they know what they’re doing. The best thing about a simple game with fundamentally sound gameplay is that while it’s easy to learn, it will be hard to master.
Glizzy Royale’s “easy-to-learn, hard-to-master approach” lends itself to skillful players. Those willing to put in the time to master the mechanics and the intricacies of the map will be greatly rewarded. Our team has collectively spent years playing popular titles like CS:GO, Call of Duty, Fortnite, Overwatch and many more. We understand the competitive nature of these games is a big factor in their popularity and replayability. Glizzy Royale will respect that drive for competition while still allowing less experienced players to feel like they stand a chance.
We believe our game can only truly succeed if it is fun. Gamers view their gaming time as a chance to relax and enjoy themselves. Gaming should not feel like a second job. While earning rewards and playing the secondary markets will be a part of Glizzy Royale experience, we want it to come second to the entertainment and social value (squads mode) the game can provide.
We want as many gamers as possible to have access to Glizzy Royale. There will be a low barrier to entry into the game, allowing for a more dynamic player-driven economy and more consistent matchmaking. You will not need to own one of our genesis collection NFTs in order to play, though holding one of these NFTs will provide certain benefits (more on this later).
Our graphics settings will operate on a 1-10 scale, allowing a wider range of PCs to run the game smoothly. We are also looking into controller combability at launch so that console players can get in on the fun as well.
After landing, securing key resources, and defeating anyone that is unlucky enough to run into you, the middle game begins.
A couple minutes into each match, a translucent forcefield will begin to slowly swallow up the playable area of the map. The forcefield will condense around a randomly determined central point. The forcefield will move five times throughout the match, getting progressively smaller each time.
Players will be able to survive in the forcefield for a limited amount of time. Staying in the forcefield will drain a player’s health by 10 every second, meaning that a player at full health could survive for 10 seconds.
Now with likely only a few players and quickly shrinking game map, the pressure is on.
While each of the forcefield’s movements will be randomly determined, the algorithm will be slightly biased towards major points of interest and will avoid ending on especially mountainous terrain. This adjustment should ensure the game will not conclude at exceedingly hard to reach or remote areas of the map.
After the forcefield’s fifth movement, the entirety of the map will be consumed, putting an end to the game. Each match is programmed to last a maximum of 15 minutes before the forcefield consumes the entirety of the map, leading to faster matches with less downtime.
On average, we expect games to be over in around 12 minutes, allowing for faster gameplay loops.
Medals are earned through completing achievements and give players access to powerful weapons and rare skins.
Glizzy Royale will feature a robust achievement system with close to 1,000 unique achievements at launch. Players will earn medals in exchange for completing a variety of both skill-based, time-based, and luck-based accomplishments. There are five difficulty tiers that will determine how many medals each achievement will provide:
Easy -> 1 Medal
Medium -> 5 Medals
Hard -> 10 Medals
Master -> 25 Medals
"Yea Right" -> 100 Medals
Medals can be exchanged in the in-game store for powerful weapons and rare skins that will only be available through the medal achievement system. Since the number of achievements is finite, players will need to carefully weigh how they spend their medals.
The number of medals a player has earned will be publicly displayed next to the player’s screen name.
The medal system offers players another avenue for progression and could serve as an approximation of a player’s skill level.
$GLIZZY is our in-game utility token that serves as your entry fee into each battle royale match. Players will pay a small amount of $GLIZZY as a buy-in into each match. These buy-ins are then distributed to the top placing players in each match. Eliminating players also provide a small amount of $GLIZZY per kill.
The buy-in system reduces the inflationary pressure on the token as a smaller number of new tokens enter circulation after each match.
We are conscious of the importance of well thought out tokenomics. We will not get into specific numbers yet as our team continues to develop a smart plan for $GLIZZY emissions.
Players will pay a flat fee in $GLIZZY to make upgrades to their NFT weapons. $GLIZZY spent on weapon upgrades is taken out of circulation.
Players will be able to select up to three NFT-based weapons to equip in their starting load-out in the pre-game lobby screen. Players that do not have any NFT weapons can still play – they will begin each game with a common semi-automatic rifle.
By giving players a custom load-out to begin each game with, we remove some of the randomness that exists in the opening moments of a battle royale match where an unlucky player can meet a quick demise due to poor landing spot RNG. While it will still be possible to obtain new weapons in loot crates scattered throughout the map, they will be scarce.
We believe this approach increases the value of player’s NFT weapons. Relying on loot crates to find powerful weapons will be a very inconsistent approach. Having a strong starting load-out will be the most consistent strategy to ensure success.
The amount of $GLIZZY you earn will depend on two factors:
The rarity of your NFT
The length of your lock-in period
Rarity Multipliers
Common/Uncommon: 1x
Rare: 1.5x
Super Rare: 3x
Mythic Rare: 6x
Fusion Rare: 10x
Length Multipliers:
7 days: 1x
14 days: 1.2x
30 days: 1.5x
By staking an NFT with a fusion rare trait for 30 days, you will receive a 15x multiplier on your daily yield.
This rarity-weighted system creates a strong incentive to use the fusion system to obtain higher rarity NFTs.
When both the fusion and staking systems are working in harmony, the collection size and percentage of NFTs listed on secondary markets should gradually decrease.
As discussed in the "Gameplay Philosophy" section, we are laser-focused on delivering fundamentally strong core gameplay mechanics prior to expanding the scope of Glizzy Royale.
If we can create a strong base to the Glizzy Royale pyramid, it will allow us to iterate and build out the scope of the project moving forward.
There is a healthy balance to strike between launching a rushed product and spending too much time building out ancillary systems that are not needed for the core gameplay loops to work. We believe focusing on the essentials and building out additonal systems post-launch strikes the perfect balance for our team.
Collecting extensive feedback from user testing will play an integral role in going to market in a timely fashion. Getting seasoned gamers from e-sports organizations into our alpha and beta testing rounds will allow us to iterate faster and ensure the game launches in a balanced state.
We had a few objectives in mind when developing our gameplay map:
Create points of interest inspired by the Solana NFT ecosystem
Design key chokepoints that will create highly contested “hotspots”
Build a diversity of terrains to avoid a repetitive gameplay experience
We are incredibly grateful for the amazing projects that have paved the way for us. The GGA team has held many of the projects involved in our initial game map and will continue to support projects outside of our own (which we do think is awesome too).
Our game will be more than just a self-contained experience, it will help bring the Solana NFT community closer together.
The river that flows out of the Pesky Penguin Pond and runs to the southernmost point of the map is a strategic geographical divide that creates key chokepoints in the map. There are two bridges that will serve as access points across the river. One will be located all the way at the bottom of the map near the sandy beaches and the other one will be right at the center of map near the Degen District.
We came into our design phase with the goal of ensuring every area felt unique. Beaches, jungles, swamps, and cities are just some of the terrains found throughout the Glizzy Royale game map.
We want to build from this principle and gradually evolve the game map overtime. Each “season” of Glizzy Royale could introduce new points of interest. We will ultimately listen the feedback of the player base and seek to constantly iterate the map.
The current layout is by no means the final one.
Every weapon starts at zero experience points and can be leveled up to unlock valuable attachments. Weapon XP is based on two factors:
Time survived in-game
Killing other players
To access various weapon upgrades such as red-dot sights, thermal scopes and handgrips, players will need to increase the weapon XP for each of their weapons (more on this in the next section).
Weapons sold on the secondary market will have their level clearly displayed, providing more value to players that sell a weapon they took the time to level up.

The team will be doxxed prior to the genesis NFT collection mint date.
No. A core pillar of our game is accessibility. We want as many people as possible to play Glizzy Royale.
You will not need any NFTs to jump into a game, though having an NFT weapons (these will be airdropped to holders of the genesis collection) will give you a more consistent gamplay experience.
Stakers will accumulate $GLIZZY in exchange for locking up their genesis NFT through our staking protocol. Staking rewards are weighted based on rarity (see "NFT Staking System" section to learn more).
Keep in mind, the $GLIZZY will not be going into circulation until later into the development cycle of the project (following our public sale process).
We do not think it makes sense to have $GLIZZY live months prior to the game's release. We believe taking this approach will benefit holders in the long run.
Our staking protocol will keep track of how long NFTs are staked and which wallet they are connected with. Once $GLIZZY goes live, stakers will have the token airdropped to their respective wallets.
The answer to this question depends on what your goal is with fusion. You can read more about the fusion process in the "NFT Fusion System" section.
Fusing two NFTs together gives you incredible odds to get rarer traits. Every fusion has a 1% chance to create a new trait that is only attainable through fusion. Stakers will benefit from this system as NFTs with higher rarity traits will provide massive multipliers on daily yields.
There are three resources that will dictate progression in Glizzy Royale:
$GLIZZY
$GLIZZY is the in-game utility token of Glizzy Royale that will drive the player economy.
2. Weapon XP
Weapon XP is needed to level up your weapons and get access to important gun attachments.
3. Medals
Medals are earned through completing achievements and give players access to powerful weapons and rare skins.
Our genesis NFT collection of 5,555 3D-rendered glizzys is the access pass to Glizzy Royale.
Exclusive airdrops for holders (weapons + rare skins)
Ability to accumulate $GLIZZY via staking
Increased rewards multiplier for in-game token earnings
Ability to use NFT as your in-game character

Fusion is like minting again, but with much better odds. Our goal with fusion is to create an organic system that will put deflationary pressure on our collection size and create a genuinely fun mechanic that rewards holders tremendously.
How it will work:
Go to our website
Connect your wallet to our fusion chamber UI
Select the ID #’s of the two NFTs you wish to fuse
Press FUSE!
The two NFTs you select will be sent to our burn wallet. You will then receive a new NFT from our fusion wallet. You are guaranteed traits equal to or better than your current ones and could even get the rank #1.
Every fusion has a 1% chance of creating a “Fusion Rare” trait, a new trait that’s only attainable through fusion.
Our team of developers has built out a proprietary algorithm that determines the outcomes of every fusion, but generally the mechanics are as follows:
Something to keep in mind - there is no limit to the number of times NFTs can be fused together. The collection size can continue to decrease indefinetly. With that in mind, the above graphic gives you an idea for the most optimal pairings.
Our staking system will further encourage fusion as your token yield will be weighted based on rarity (more on this in the next section). In other words, rarer NFTs will yield significantly more tokens per day.
In summary, fusion creates a collection that is both:
Dynamic (the rarity rank of your NFT can change daily)
Deflationary (collection size will naturally decrease over time)
We want to do one thing and do it well. With that principle in mind, we are focused on delivering our core battle royale experience before expanding our scope. There will be two game modes at launch with a third coming soon after:
Solo
Squads
Clans
Solos will be a single player battle royale experience while squads will allow you to team up with up to four players. Both modes wiill feature the same gameplay, the same map, and the same mechanics.
We plan to integrate a clan system into Glizzy Royale shortly after launch. Clans will allow players to organize themselves into permanent groups within the game.
Competitive clan events with funded prize pools will follow. Clans will compete against eachother to accrure points in limited time events.
The below is a high-level perspective on our development plans following launch. Each of these bullet points will be further fleshed out in our discord annoucements.
Begin development on Glizzy Royale with our in-house team (see team section)
Formalize initial game development document and make key hires to strengthen our in-house team
Begin discussions with private investors for future fundraising round
Launch working demo with goal of showcasing fluid combat mechanics and dynamic fast-paced gameplay potential
Private beta testing rounds begin in collaboration with competitive e-sports gamers with goal of gathering extensive user feedback on gameplay and anti-cheat systems
$GLIZZY token public sale followed by DEX listing
Glizzy Royale in-game marketplace launch using our in-game utility token, $GLIZZY, as a currency
First exclusive in-game NFT airdrops to holders of genesis collection (airdrops will feature 3D weapons and rare 2D texture skins that can be applied to weapon NFTs)
Game launch of our flagship battle royale game mode with integrated web 3.0 functionality
The Glizzy Royale in-game economy revolves around $GLIZZY, our core utility token. $GLIZZY will be used as a medium of exchange for NFT weapons, 2D textured weapon skins, in-game perks, and a variety of wearable cosmetics for your in-game character.
Glizzy Royale will feature classic weapon archetypes including assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, submachine guns, and pistols. There will also be more niche weapons like explosives, throwing knives and crossbows.
We will conduct multiple rounds of exclusive airdrops for holders of the genesis NFT collection. These airdrops will include the first wave of weapons that enter the Glizzy Royale ecosystem. Weapons will be tradable on secondary markets.
Our unique achievement system will give players that miss out on airdrops or are priced out of the secondary market, an opportunity to obtain high-tier weapons through purely skill or time-based accomplishments (more on this in the next section).
We love flexing cosmetics in games.
Glizzy Royale will feature both 2D and 3D textured cosmetic items including:
o Weapon Skins
o Character Skins
o Mech Buns
o Wearable Headwear
Weapon skins will be obtainable through holder-exclusive airdrops, but mainly through our achievements (medals) system (see next section).
Wearables including your glizzy's skin, mech bun and headwear will not be tradable on-chain as they will be based on the respective genesis NFTs that you currently own.
Perks are unique passive and active mechanics that add a level of complexity and depth to Glizzy Royale.
At this time, none of these mechanics are finalized before we enter beta testing, at which point we will be able to understand how different mechanics fit into the game meta.
