There are four key pillars that will define our development process from start to finish:
Simplicity
Reward Skill
Fun > Profit
High Accessibility
As hinted in our introduction, our team strongly values simplicity. We want to master the fundamentals of strong shooter mechanics rather than distract the player with hundreds of complicated features and systems. Players want to get into a lobby, queue up quickly and understand what’s going on immediately. Our game will provide a fast-learning curve that will allow anyone with even basic shooter experience to jump in and feel like they know what they’re doing. The best thing about a simple game with fundamentally sound gameplay is that while it’s easy to learn, it will be hard to master.
Glizzy Royale’s “easy-to-learn, hard-to-master approach” lends itself to skillful players. Those willing to put in the time to master the mechanics and the intricacies of the map will be greatly rewarded. Our team has collectively spent years playing popular titles like CS:GO, Call of Duty, Fortnite, Overwatch and many more. We understand the competitive nature of these games is a big factor in their popularity and replayability. Glizzy Royale will respect that drive for competition while still allowing less experienced players to feel like they stand a chance.
We believe our game can only truly succeed if it is fun. Gamers view their gaming time as a chance to relax and enjoy themselves. Gaming should not feel like a second job. While earning rewards and playing the secondary markets will be a part of Glizzy Royale experience, we want it to come second to the entertainment and social value (squads mode) the game can provide.
We want as many gamers as possible to have access to Glizzy Royale. There will be a low barrier to entry into the game, allowing for a more dynamic player-driven economy and more consistent matchmaking. You will not need to own one of our genesis collection NFTs in order to play, though holding one of these NFTs will provide certain benefits (more on this later).
Our graphics settings will operate on a 1-10 scale, allowing a wider range of PCs to run the game smoothly. We are also looking into controller combability at launch so that console players can get in on the fun as well.
